Hi there!  My name is Sean Barry, and I am a Jesuit in his first year at SLU.

Jesuit Formation is often confusing to people who do not know the process.  In total, it generally takes 10-12 years for a man to become a Jesuit priest, if he chooses that route.  That time is split into four sections: Novitiate, Philosophy, Regency, and Theology.  The purpose of this website is to explain the first stage, the two years of Novitiate through my own experience.
